The Contour Threads Treatment
Contour Threads are thin, flexible sutures that an experienced cosmetic surgeon threads beneath the skin from the ear to the hairline. Small barbs are located along the length of each thread, and after the threads have been placed, Dr. Pakeman’s gentle pull on the end causes the barbs to gradually and smoothly lift sagging facial tissue. The lifting of this tissue promotes a naturally refreshed appearance.
Some patients want the improved appearance offered by facial cosmetic surgery but prefer the option of reversibility. Because Contour Threads are removable, patients can enjoy a new look but can always choose to reverse the procedure if they wish. For patients who have only moderate drooping of the face, Contour Threads has certain results similar to a facelift with less downtime.
Contour Thread treatment is minimally invasive and usually takes only an hour or so.
